UFCW EPC celebrates in solidarity with USW 4883

Amherst, N.S. – October 21, 2024 – UFCW Eastern Provinces Council members are celebrating in solidarity with United Steelworkers Local 4883 members at IMP Aerostructures in Amherst, N.S. after successfully reaching a new contract to end a nearly 10-week strike.

Approximately150 IMP Aerostructures workers went on strike on Aug. 12, 2024, lasting roughly 65 days before securing a new collective agreement.
