UFCW EPC stands in solidarity with striking MUNFA members

St. John’s, N.L. – February 8, 2023 – The UFCW Canada Eastern Provinces’ Council recently joined striking Memorial University Faculty Association members on the school’s campus in St. John’s.

Almost 850 faculty and staff at Memorial University of Newfoundland have been on strike since January 30, 2023.

 The striking members were joined by UFCW Canada Eastern Province’s Council President Craig Walsh and UFCW 1252 Union Representative Sandra Corbett.
